Your stories are personal. This policy explains the information needed to create and deliver your song, who may receive it and how you can exercise your rights.

This policy describes how Chanson Personnalisée ("we") handles data relating to your use of chansonpersonnalisee.app, your account, and the creation and delivery of your song. For privacy enquiries, use the support address at the end of this page.
The payment provider or seller identified on your receipt may independently handle payment, verification, invoicing and fraud prevention data. Its own privacy policy applies to those activities.
Information we use
Account and support: name or display name, email address, sign-in information and support messages. Orders: selected package, amount, currency, status, payment references and billing information where needed.
Song and gift information: recipient’s name, relationship, occasion, memories, musical preferences, lyrics, title, dedication and delivered files. We also process information needed to operate and protect the site, including IP address, browser details and sign-in events.
You choose what to include in your story. Avoid home addresses, full contact details, health information, political opinions, intimate details and other sensitive data. Use first names or nicknames for other people, particularly children, and only share information you are entitled to use.
Purposes and legal grounds
Preparing your order, creating and delivering the song and handling order enquiries are based on performing our contract or taking steps you request before ordering. Required fields are needed for these activities; without them we cannot complete the relevant request.
Security, abuse prevention and defending legal claims rely on legitimate interests balanced against your rights. Invoicing and lawful requests rely on applicable legal obligations. Marketing and non-essential tracking that require consent use a separate, withdrawable choice.
Who receives information?
Authorised people and necessary service providers receive information relevant to their work: operating and hosting the service, creating lyrics and music, delivering files, sending messages, support, payments and preventing abuse. Creative service providers may therefore process your story without needing access to your account.
We do not sell your stories to advertisers. Placing an order does not give us permission to use your content in a public gallery, advertisement or testimonial; that requires separate permission. Contact us for information about recipients of your data.
Retention and deletion
Form drafts remain in your browser session until submitted for an action you request. Closing the tab may clear them; display preferences are stored separately. Account data is kept to operate your account and deleted or anonymised once retention is no longer justified, subject to outstanding orders and legal obligations.
Songs, lyrics and gift pages are retained for the access period stated in the offer and order confirmation. Support correspondence and transaction evidence are kept to resolve enquiries, handle disputes and meet applicable legal retention periods. Records kept for legal obligations are not used to keep an account active or send marketing.
Numerical retention periods by category still need to be finalised before sales open. This version promises neither lifetime hosting nor immediate erasure of every backup. For deletion requests, we explain what can be removed and what must be retained, with the reason.
Keeping your data safe
We restrict access to necessary information and apply proportionate account and communication safeguards. No service can guarantee absolute security. Data breaches are reported to affected individuals and authorities when and within the time limits required by law.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you solely through automated processing.

Under GDPR, requests are normally answered within one month; permitted extensions are explained. You can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or the supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
Children and policy updates
Purchases are for adults able to enter a contract. A song may be a gift for a child without creating an account for them; avoid identifying details. Contact us about information submitted without permission. Material policy changes are communicated appropriately before taking effect when required.
